Adult Hurlers are Looking for a New Manager

Erin Go Bragh are seeking a new Management team for the 2016 season for their AHL 7 Adult Hurling Team. Our hurling have been making great strides since their formation in 2007, reaching a championship final in 2012 and winning their leagues in 2013 and 2014. Last year we retained our Division 7 status after 2 successive promotions. The team is made up of local players as well as players from the hurling counties of Tipperary, Kilkenny, Westmeath, Galway, Limerick, Clare, Laois as well as the smaller counties of Meath, Kildare, Armagh, Mayo and even Kenya. The club itself will be fielding hurling teams at underage up to under 16 in 2016. Previous experience desirable and an ability to get the best out of a good bunch of lads essential.

Well done to our under 12 hurlers who beat Liffey Gaels to win their league on Saturday. The fnal score was Erin Go Bragh 1-2 Liffey Gaels 1-1. Sadly it was Amy Carroll and Aoife O’Sullivans final game with the team. Both girls have played hurling and football with the boys since they were 4 years old. They were given a guard of honour by their team mates as they left the pitch after their final game with this team. They will be missed terribly, but will continue to showcase their skills with the ladies section of the club.
