Bag Packing

Thanks to everyone who supported our bag packing fundraiser in Dunnes Stores Blanchardstown on Saturday. A special thanks to all those club members who gave up their time to make it a success. There was a massive volunteering effort from all the sections of the club with the ladies section starting it at 9 am followed by the parents from the juvenile section with the adult hurlers. The nursery group were out in force again following a strong attendance at our table quiz the previous night and training Saturday morning. The bag packing finished up at 7.30 with the under 16 boys and several stalwarts of the club. With a membership of about 400 parents and children in the club we had over 100 in action which was an impressive turn-out and great publicity for the club. The club will be bag packing again in Dunnes Stores Ongar Friday 5th and Saturday 6th December.
