Junior Football v Pavee

AFL Division 10 North County

Erin Go Bragh 1-8

Pavee 1-8

The Erin Go Bragh junior football team welcomed the travelling community team Pavee to Hazelbury Park on Thursday evening. It was the hosts who got off to the better start hitting three points without reply. The game was a tightly contested affair through out and the score remained this way for the first twenty minutes before Pavee opened their account with a pint from a free. The visitors pulled another point back from another free as Erin Go Braghs discipline let them down. The home side responded with another two points before Pavee responded with three points without reply leaving the sides level at half time at 5 points apiece.

There was little or nothing separating both sides in the second half, with the visitors getting off to the brighter start with a well worked point and a goal from the penalty spot. They furthered their lead with another two points but that was to be their final score in the game. The hosts finished the game the stronger responded with a goal and three points without reply and had the chances to win the game, but it finished 1-8 each and the sides share the points.
