Erin Go Bragh 2-2 Ballyboden/St. Endas 0-2
This was a closely contested tie with the old saying goals win games particulary relevant. Erin Go Bragh opened the scoring with a goal before Ballyboden responded with a great point of their own. The sides went 10 minutes without a score they were so evenly matched but Erin Go Bragh got a point from a free to extend their lead back to three points. At half time the score stood Erin Go Bragh 1-1 Ballyboden/St. Endas 0-1
The visitors started the second half off the brighter scoring their second point of the game before the hosts reinstated their three point lead from a free. Just like the first half the game went a period without a score with Ballyboden hitting the post at one point and forcing the home sides goalkeeper to pull off a save in the second instance as they went searching for an equaliser. But it was Erin Go Bragh who were to get the second goal of the game and they opened the day with a win.
Erin Go Bragh 0-2 Cuala 2-1
With both teams having won their games, this match would determine who would be staying at Hunters Run and who would be travelling to Drumnigh the home of Trinity Gaels. Erin Go Bragh opened the scoring and similar to Erin Go Braghs last game there was no score from either side from some time after. It was Cuala who got the next two scores, a goal and a point. They went in at half time leading by three points.
Just like the first half the hosts got the first score of the half to reduce the deficit to two points and despite their best efforts they could not reduce the gap. Cuala scored their all important goal securing a semi final in Hunters Run while the host would travel to Drumnigh.
St. Vincents 6-8 Erin Go Bragh 1-3
Erin Go Bragh travelled out to Drumnigh where St. Vincents were the opposition in the semi final. The whole feile squad put in great effort but sadly it was St. Vincents who won out. The whole team wore the green and white with pride on the day.
