Junior Hurling v Na Fianna

Na Fianna 2-9

Erin Go Bragh 0-12

The Erin Go Bragh junior hurlers travelled to Mobhi Road on Sunday for their first game of 2015. The hosts got off to a flying start scoring 2-2 without reply. But eventually the visitors settled into the game to score 6 unanswered points and were beginning to gain the upper hand. Both sides exchanged scores with the hosts leading at half time 0-8 to 2-4.

Erin Go Bragh started the second half strongly taking the lead after ten minutes with three unanswered scores. However it was Na Fianna who were to finish the game the stronger and nearly had a third goal  but for the ball to be kicked off the line. They reclaimed the lead in the closing stages and extended it by three points. Despite Erin Go Braghs best efforts it was the hosts who progress to the Miller Shield semi final.
